Code Camp Buenos Aires 2007 Review

ENGLISH

Code Camp was a success! There was 300+ attendees and some of them approached me or sent me emails congratulating us for the event. Like every event Code Camp had it's small problems that are very much fixable.

The event started 15 minutes late because of technical problems. Gonzalo of Microsoft and I opened the event where we explained about Code Camp and how it was going to work out. After that the guys from Imagine Cup explained a little about the competition and their experience in South Korea. After that the attendees split into 4 sessions: XNA, Robotics, Biztalk, and .NET 3.0. When the sessions were over the Demo Fest started where the Student Cells and the guys from the Imagine Cup team presented what they were working on. At that time sandwiches and soda was served. The last 2 sessions were presented by programmers of two of the sponsors: Andres Aguilar of Infragistics and Alejandro Jack and Paulo Arancibia of Southworks. Andres talked about LINQ and Alejandro and Paulo talked about WPF. I closed the event where there were a lot of prices such as books, controls, and an XBOX 360!
